Me: A poet, historian, and Jewish American Princess currently working on my Masters Degree at UC Berkeley. I’m an Aries, so a bit fiery; opinionated, politically engaged, and constantly curious. I’m a good listener who loves exploring other people’s worlds and perspectives, and I relish any chance to learn something new. My favorite part of Slixa is the people I meet, their wide range of stories and experiences, constantly expanding my worldview. I love life. I love exploring my senses, and cherish the daily details: the warmth of my morning shower, the cool wet grass and dirt between my toes as I wander my garden barefoot, the electricity of human touch. You: Perhaps a traveling business man, overworked and in desperate need of some relaxation. Perhaps a local, bored with the daily grind, missing the spark that once lit this city up in your heart. Perhaps you are craving connection, perhaps excitement, change and possibility. Whatever you are needing, lets find it together. Us: The setting sun glistens on two glasses perched on the window sill, the thin stem and swooping curve of my champaign flute cupping the wide, sturdy brim of your single malt scotch. Below us the city sprawls, sun gleaming on water as the last streaks of golden light are chased west by the rolling fog. Strawberries, sushi, Ghirardelli chocolates, every last treat and luxury the city has to offer, laid out before us. We will get to them later… It’s been a long week. Your wrists ache from typing and your eyes are strained from the blue light of screens. You long for the stresses of the week to roll away with the fog, to sink into warmth and softness and joy. You are right where you belong. We embark on an adventure together. Time melts away as you discover what you didn’t even know you were missing. We are exactly where we are meant to be. Come get lost in everything this city has to offer. Your adventure awaits.
